Print Pomona Art Book Fair in partnership with the Benton Museum of Art at Pomona College is the leading event that celebrates independent publishing, book design, and books-as-art.

Julian Lucas, photographer and co-founder of Mirrored Society Books, founded PPABF in 2018 as a fresh forum for artists, independent publishers, and fans of artists' books. It also serves as a hub for idea sharing and community engagement.

What is An Artist Book?
An artists’ book would be any work of art held in book form, meaning the book is the medium of artistic expression that uses the form or function of “book” as inspiration. The book as a whole, not just the photographs within it would be an art piece, the sculpture.

The fair is located in the San Gabriel Valley, in the city of Claremont, 30 miles east of the city of Los Angeles. PPABF is free and open to the public.
